This educational offering will discuss the origins of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), how it is different from other treatment approaches and the types of patients who can benefits from DBT. A continuum model of treatment which includes DBT in an intensive outpatient program setting, as well as DBT in individual treatment settings, will be presented. The program will include case studies of patients who have received DBT.
